CEO, CFO

Naveen Kulkarni

Naveen is a scientist, entrepreneur and hands-on executive officer with more than 25 years of scientific and entrepreneurial experience in pharma, biotech and healthcare industries. Prior to Quantumzyme, Naveen has been mentoring and advising start-ups on Business Plan, Business Models and support in funding.
Naveen served as the CEO of Biotech start-ups, and prior to that as Director at Philips Research, where he was associated with a portfolio of opportunities for new business creation in healthcare and energy sector. He worked as a principal consultant for SysArris Inc, USA, where he integrated the Bioinformatics services for the company that positioned the company a leading technology provider in the health sector.
Naveen has contributed to many scientific publications featured in journals like Nature, ACS Biocatalysis to name a few. Naveen also served as a member of the advisory board of reputed institutions.

Strategist Specialist

Rajeev Soni

Rajeev Soni has more than 25 years of experience including industry and academia, both nationally and internationally. He has been accredited with the discovery of G1 cyclins in plants during his Ph.D., a discovery that changed the whole course of plant growth and development field. His specialization includes drug discovery research in the field of cancer and infectious diseases, molecular diagnostics, industrial biotechnology with a focus on enzyme engineering for various applications, development of protein expression systems in various organisms, fund raising, strategic planning and business development.
Rajeev Soni did his Master's in Biotechnology from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India and his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Cambridge, U.K. Rajeev's research has several patents to his credit including the patents on the development of a synthetic nuclease for bioterrorism applications while being at the Naval Research Lab in the USA. He has served as Associate Director, Biotechnology at Ranbaxy, where he was involved in drug discovery in the field of infectious and metabolic diseases. He also had a stint at entrepreneurship where he served as President and COO of PREMAS Biotech, a CRAMS organization and now we order for Gene Synthesis. Rajeev then joined as an Associate VP in Biocon where he was responsible for the Molecular biology aspects of various projects, in particular being Insulin Glargine. Thereafter, he served as the Head of Protein Engineering at Novozymes, where he researched on the engineering and application of enzymes for various industrial applications.

Project Management Specialist

Venugopal Nonavinakere

Venugopal is a seasoned professional with twenty five plus years of IT industry experience including 14 years of Program/Project management and 12 years of Delivery management. He's experienced in managing multiple projects with focus on Healthcare Solutions, Integration Services, Web and Client Server applications, GUI applications, PCI/SOX compliance and CRM solutions.
Demonstrated experience in Delivery Management, Program/Project Planning & Execution, defining Program Roadmap, monitoring Program/Project Progress & pro actively addressing risks/issues and Release Management. He has wide exposure to different SDLCs including AGILE/SCRUM development model.
During his stint at NTT Data (previously Dell Services) he was leading Digital BPaaS & VBC initiatives, vendor interactions, exploring new offerings with PoC development, RFI/RFP/Cost Models and offshore product development, customer projects delivery, production support and competency building. Prior to that he has led the delivery, release and support for several solutions, including determining the release scope & content, end to end project plan and schedule management, delivery strategy, capability building, change management, process transformation and quality. Also was responsible for Future roadmap planning and budgeting, managed client/business relationships, vendor management and interlock with various support groups in defining project timelines
